Our Mission

About Rhelion

Rhelion Life Sciences is a world-class pharmaceutical research and development company dedicated to the discovery and development of natural psychedelic medicines for psychiatric and neurological conditions. We believe that rigorous science, patient-centred design, and disciplined development can change what is possible in mental and brain health.

As the parent company of Filament Health, Rhelion brings together a fully integrated natural psychedelic drug discovery and development platform:

  • A world-class intellectual property portfolio: 76 issued patents across 13 patent families.
  • GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing and a Health Canada Controlled Substances Dealer's Licence (Level 8).
  • An FDA-authorized clinical program anchored by PEX010, Filament's patented botanical psilocybin drug candidate.
  • End-to-end capabilities spanning intellectual property, research and development, manufacturing, clinical development, and global distribution, expanding access to safe, standardized, naturally-derived medicines.

What We Do

Focus Areas

Psychiatric Conditions

Research programs addressing mood, anxiety, and treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders.

  • Psychiatric conditions are notoriously difficult to treat, and many patients cycle through therapies that never fully work.
  • Today's medications too often carry a heavy burden of side effects, leading people to stop treatment that was meant to help.
  • Millions continue to suffer, and we are working to solve this with better-tolerated, more effective therapies.

Neurological Conditions

Therapeutic candidates targeting neurodegenerative and neuro-inflammatory disease.

  • Neurological and neurodegenerative diseases are among the hardest conditions in medicine, with few options that meaningfully change their course.
  • Existing treatments frequently bring significant side effects while offering patients only limited relief.
  • Too many people and families are left without answers, and we are committed to changing that.
